The Beacon of Hope Cayman Foundation Ltd. is seeking candidates for the position of:

Full-time Agricultural Processing Technician

The successful candidate’s duties will include but not be limited to:

Following company recipes to process coconut oil, sauces, jams, jellies and other
products, using basic equipment.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the Agricultural Processing Unit (APU) and equipment to
ensure sanitary processing conditions.
Managing APU inventory records, preparing a processing schedule for the APU and
directing the APU Assistant.
Purchasing supplies and ingredients.
Assisting customers at our Farm Shop, closing the register at the end of the day and
ensuring cleanliness of the Farm Shop.
Assist with record keeping for harvested crops as they come into the shop.
The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to
5:00 pm.

Ability to be discreet and compassionate with fellow employees who are in Recovery.
Ability to work independently.
Good reading, writing and math skills and diligence in record keeping and reporting.
Experience with preserving and processing fruits and vegetables is desirable, but
training can be provided.
Experience with retail sales, including the use of POS systems and credit/debit card
machines is desirable, however training can be provided in the use of these systems.
Personal transportation and valid driver’s license.

Renumeration starts at $15.00 per hour.
