September is Recovery Month, observed around the world to recognise and celebrate the gains made by people recovering from substance abuse.

Our sister organisation The Bridge Foundation appeared on Compass TV show Daybreak this week to share their recovery stories and talk about the vital importance of transitional housing.

There is currently no transitional housing for women in the Cayman Islands. The Bridge Foundation is fundraising to build The Phoenix House in West Bay, a home for women and children to assist their integration back into society after rehab.
