Minister Joey Hew and his aides paid Beacon Farms a visit in early 2020. He was able to see our Agricultural Production Unit, where we make coconut oil and flour, in operation. He also got a look at our fully grown tobacco plants in the field and the beginnings of our Temporary Tobacco Drying Barn.
After the tour we sat down with the Minister and discussed the Farm's plans for the future, as well as how we could work in partnership with the Government to achieve our goals and continue to provide a next step for people in recovery from substance abuse.
Mr. Hew was gracious enough to let us record his impressions of the organisation. Beacon Farms thanks Mr. Hew for taking the time to come out to the farm and lending his support where possible.
